The Canon EOS R5 is may main camera body. It’s a 45 megapixel workhorse which I’ve really grown to love. I use this for most of my landscape and sports photography; most anything where size and weight aren’t a concern. Can’t image i’ll need to upgrade this camera for years to come.
The Canon EOS R8 is my smaller, lighter option when I want to slim down on what i’m carrying but still capture great photos. I picked it up for use as a backup to the R5 when i’m traveling, or sometimes as a main body when I want a smaller, lightweight kit option.
